Snowmass offers a variety of organized mountain biking adventures ranging from a private bike tour to downhill and freeride clinics for both kids and adults. Whether you’re looking for an afternoon pedal with a guide, hoping to hone your skills on a freeride course, or wanting to try mountain biking for the first time ever, you can make it happen in Snowmass.
Lesson can be catered to interest and skill level. Lesson provides skills training to develop your mountain bike experience. Most private lessons are 1.5 hours long and set up individually with instructor at the time that works for both the instructor and client.
Registrations are accepted at the Snowmass Village Recreation Center, online, in person or by telephone. All private mountain bike sessions must be purchased through the Snowmass Village Recreation Center.
Join our Mountain Bike Pros for some mountain excitement complete with dust, sweat and downhill thrills with your family and friends. Our bike coaches will personalize your experience and challenge you in taking your skills to the next level.
Recommended for ages 8 and above and all participants must know how to ride a bike.
The goal of the Snowmass Village Mountain Bike Club is to provide aspiring shredders, of all abilities, technical mountain bike skills in a fun, friendly and safe environment. All clinics will focus on technical skills, trail riding, trail etiquette, bike maintenance, and map trail map navigation. Detailed clinic curriculum listings can be found online.
Kids must have their own bikes, helmets and safety gear. Downhill equipment is not necessary as we will be focused primarily on cross country trails.
Be Park Ready! Biking in the Snowmass Bike Park may be slightly different than expected. There are manmade obstacles and features like jumps,wooden features, and drops. If you are not sure about your ability, go with a Pro and experience the fun of the Snowmass Bike Park.
