Snowmass Village is a cycling community at the core. Weekly races offer a fantastic way to meet and mingle with local cyclists while giving you the opportunity to challenge yourself to a personal best. Additionally, Snowmass hosts multiple cycling events for riders of all abilities including the weekly SBP Race Series, the VIDA MTB Series Flagship Clinic, camps from Roaring Fork Cycling, and more.
The 2023 Audi Snowmass 50 Mountain Bike Race will take place on Saturday, August 5th. The course utilizes some of the best single track in the valley over a 25-mile loop that circumnavigates Snowmass. Choose to race the full course (2 laps), half course (1 lap) or partner race (each person does one lap).
VNTRbirds (venture birds) encourage women through outdoor education and adventure. Women-run and based in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, VNTRbirds brings women to the outdoors through mountain biking, backcountry skiing and splitboarding and community meet ups. These experiences bring women together and help create more confidence and self-reliance in the outdoors.
This is a women-specific MTB course open to all levels. VIDA MTB SERIES Snowmass downhill course is back this summer and presented by VNTRbirds. VIDA literally translates to “life” and the VIDA MTB SERIES celebrates the entire lifestyle of women riders and supports them in all of their endeavors. We’ll have tech talks, bike fitting, healthy lunch provided & more for this 2 day immersive bike clinic. Love the downhill just a little more than the uphill? Ready to focus on your downhill skills? The Aspen Cycling Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to encouraging participation in cycling at all levels. The ACC offers a low-cost, summer-long series of road and mountain bike races. Previously, the series has hosted approximately 9 road-bike and 7 mountain-bike races. It will continue to race on some of the Valley’s classic roads and trails, and will also look for new and exciting courses while striving to grow its membership base. The Club will continue its commitment to trail building and maintenance as part of its goal to support and grow the sport from Aspen to Glenwood Springs.
