Snowmass Village is a cycling community at the core. Weekly races offer a fantastic way to meet and mingle with local cyclists while giving you the opportunity to challenge yourself to a personal best. Additionally, Snowmass hosts multiple cycling events for riders of all abilities including Big Mountain Enduro Finals, the VIDA MTB Series Flagship Clinic, camps from Roaring Fork Cycling, and more.
The 2021 Audi Snowmass 50 Mountain Bike Race will take place on Saturday, July 24th. The course utilizes some of the best single track in the valley over a 25-mile loop that circumnavigates Snowmass. Choose to race the full course (2 laps), half course (1 lap) or partner race (each person does one lap).
VIDA is more than just a clinic, we’re a COMMUNITY.
The VIDA MTB Series focuses on making you a better rider through increased confidence and an improved understanding of the relationship between you and your bike. If you’ve been wanting to descend the steeps, tackle tight switchbacks with ease, overcome obstacles on the trail, learn how to catch air, or become confident on wooden bridges and stunts, join us and discover the rider that exists within you.
The weekend clinics provide women with the opportunity to connect with VIDA coaches, and fully immerse themselves into the nitty-gritty of proper biking technique and the confidence needed to tackle new challenges. Participants will be grouped with other ladies of like-minded experience and goals so you can progress together in a comfortable and supportive environment.
The Aspen Cycling Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to encouraging participation in cycling at all levels. The ACC offers a low-cost, summer-long series of road and mountain bike races. The 2019 series hosted approximately 9 road-bike and 7 mountain-bike races. It will continue to race on some of the Valley’s classic roads and trails, and will also look for new and exciting courses while striving to grow its membership base. In 2021, the Club will continue its commitment to trail building and maintenance as part of its goal to support and grow the sport from Aspen to Glenwood Springs.
