Anaerobic Nightmare is a steep single track trail that follows direct fall line frequently. It allows for quick access between Tom Blake and Government Trail.
This trail is often used for loops in Snowmass. This difficult ride has technical challenges and a steep grade. Anaerobic Nightmare lives primarily in a forested section with roots on the trail that can pose a challenge for intermediate riders.
Local’s Tip: Unless you’re a glutton for anaerobic punishment, this trail is more enjoyably ridden in the downhill direction (from Government Trail down to Tom Blake Trail).
Please note: This trail is subject to seasonal closures from April 25 – June 27 (opens June 28).
